Ditto for me — will be in church for the morning rally.
I’m a bit disappointed in our pastor who never mentions anything political. He’s one of the best preachers I’ve ever heard, but sometimes it would be nice to have a few words about what’s going on in our country. The congregation is a family; we’re all feeling pretty lost and helpless about the country. I’d love to hear a few words to comfort and assure us in that atmosphere.
The first Sunday we went to that church he wasn’t there. The preacher filling the pulpit was amazing! It was the Sunday after the vote on homosexual marriage and, boy, he did NOT hold back!
Anyhow, just blathering...
