No, they didn’t. Cruz said, “The responsibility for that lies with protesters, who took violence into their own hands.”

He went on to explain that “when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord.”

Try to understand the balance between these two statements.

Judge Jeanine said that, per the First Amendment, words never justify physical violence. She said that every man who has beaten his wife for “talking back” never would/could be prosecuted. In America people, that includes Trump, can SAY anything; all speech is protected. If violence occurs, that’s the responsibility of the one(s) causing the violence.
