I’ll let you argue it out with all the people who have told me that if I vote for Trump I am not a conservative, and if I vote for Cruz I am allies with Bill Ayers.

By the time this race is over, there will not be one person left with all their arms, legs, and right mind. It’s scorched earth. Obama may not even need to EMP us; we may do it to ourselves - all in the name of saving the Republic, of course.

The Eisenhower/Stevenson, Goldwater/Johnson, Nixon/Kennedy and several of Reagan’s successive campaigns were also horrible. I lived through all of them and can tell you, this one is no worse; it’s just that the stakes are much, much higher this time; our enemies are inside the gates and the nation has been terribly weakened. That’s why it’s important to vote when you can. Just pray beforehand and do your best. Don’t let the invective bother you personally. The nasty attacks are more about the attacker’s issues than the campaign issues.
