Trump rally Chicago 3/11/2016
Why are you posting this? Surely you’ve seen the multiple threads already posted, relating to this incident.
Those threads are already up into the hundreds and hundreds of comments.
CBS equates “Trump supporters”
with the blacklivesmatter and La Raza and muslim rioters.
The inmates are running the large cities.
Either you or I are late to the party, but it seems that it’s the fault of Ted Cruz.
Go figure.
This was the right decision, for today, but I’m down for the fight if that is what needs to occur...
Marco Rubio, with his absurd comments after Trump’s rally was disrupted by the Leftists, has forever torpedoed his own political career.
#blacklivesmatter silences Trump.
Trump should say Chicago needs a wall built around it.
That’ll set’em off.
Trump certainly has the right to have his rally unencumbered. Equally, the protesters have every right to show up and protest just about as loudly and obnoxiously as they like — as long as it’s peaceful and they don’t try to disrupt.
Now, I will say that I think Trump selected a place for the event that was probably unwise. Another location might have reduced this problem. Having it on the college campus made it way too easy for the protesters to do what they do.
A lot of violence seems to follow Trump. He has personally threatened demonstrators and asked his supporters to punch them out. His campaign manager attacked a reporter simply for asking a question. His supporters have violently attacked minority protesters. But somehow, that has nothing to do with him.
So you can say that something about his campaign is fostering such an environment.
SMH says Phil Roberston.
Bad idea to cancel.
Lets go disturb a Hillary rally. She should not be allowed to speak eitherm
Whom do you support now 2DV?
Why would The Donald schedule a rally anywhere near Chicago? Pretty much none of his base lives there...he should have started with Illinois cities like Peoria, Springfield, Normal, Decatur, Champaign, etc.. The closest to Chicago I would have gone is perhaps Rockford, IL.
Cruz says the responsibility for the event belongs with the protesters. How is that blaming Trump?
I saw the other thread, that Bill Ayers was present...

That’s rich; Trump should be able to play that for effect.
This didn’t just happen, it took organizers to make it happen. I think the word is “cognitive dissonance”, you see violent protesters breaking up a Trump rally and the news people droning on and on about Trump’s supposed violence.
You will never see Trump people breaking up a Bernie rally, or shouting down a Hillary rally. Because Trump people, Republicans in general, conservatives in general, are normal people who quite simply are not violent except in extremis.
It is the Left that is violent, and uses violence as a tool. That is so obvious, it is right there in front of you on the TV screen and yet the talking heads are telling to ignore your eyes, ignore your eyes, see what we tell you to see.
Ted Cruz just saw an opportunity to take a cheap shot; he missed the chance to make the more important point. That’s too bad. Lord knows people have taken their share of cheap shots at him, but there are times when you have to lay that aside and stand with the civilized against the barbarian.
