Cruz: Trump Is Manipulating 'Low-Information' Voters

Ted Cruz accused Republican front-runner Donald Trump of taking advantage of 'angry, low-information voters.'

“Listen, Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice,” Cruz told “The Brody File” in an interview conducted Wednesday and published Thursday.

Cruz, who has racked up wins in Idaho, Maine and Kansas in the past week, said his campaign performs better among informed, engaged voters.

“When they inform themselves, they realize his record,” Cruz said. “He’s what they’re angry at. He is the corruption, and if you want someone to stand up to Washington, the only one who has been doing so in this race is me.”

The Texas senator acknowledged Trump has done well in Southeastern states — he’s won Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. But Cruz said his campaign has done well in that pocket of the country, too, often coming in second to the New York billionaire but still picking up delegates.

“Now Donald has a harder problem in the West,” Cruz said. “It’s interesting. I mean, his location, he does well in the Southeast. He does well with a certain demographic of voter. Donald gave a press conference where he said, to quote him, ‘I love the poorly educated.’” Cruz suggested Trump is “taking advantage of his voters because” they’re angry. “I understand what they’re angry about, but, Donald, if you’re angry at the corruption of Washington, you don’t solve it by supporting someone who has been enmeshed in the Washington corruption for 40 years,” he said.

Did Cruz double down on this comment, or is it just another article about the original?

Not to toot my own horn, but every time I’ve ever taken any kind of political fact quiz, I’ve always gotten 100%. I’m with Trump.

Well Ted. You went to a elite school to prove you are a A@#hole?
Most likely it was to learn how to lie well. Like your hero, Woodro Wilson.

Is there anyone running besides Trump?

Ted’s comment is actually an insult, Trump’s is not. Huge difference.

Trump says over and over and over that “the people are really smart”, and “they get it”. He’s including the “poorly educated.” People can be “poorly educated” in a factual sense of the term and still be smart.

Context matters.

Trump voters are THE most loyal and intelligent!

Of course, it takes a cartoon to reach them...

Yeah sure and Cruz is illegally running for president. I still think it’s a hoot that he says he can only win if everyone else drops out. If you are so good, you should win regardless of how many are in. Trump has 15 times. Cruz a bunch of little attended caucus’ and 3 primaries. Trump will be at least 18 maybe 19 on Tuesday night. Cruz will still be at 7.

Trump is manipulating emotionally unstable people, too. And Ann Coulter’s remark about it’s okay for Trump to do abortions in the Whitehouse is reminiscent of Nina Burleigh saying that we [women] should all give former Pres. Clinton a blowjob for keeping partial birth abortion legal. Maybe Ann Coulter can get a job at Time Magazine, too.

They go all apoplectic over Cruz talking about “low information voters”, but not a peep about Trump saying he doesn’t want to return any federal land to the states because we can’t be trusted to take care of it. Seems to be a lot of them that don’t even know about it.

“It’s true”

So the Reagan coalition was nothing but a lot of low information voters? You are so clueless as to what is going on.

Yes, I heard Ben Carson say when you actually talk to Trump he’s an intelligent and thoughtful man.

But to his followers he’s vulagar and rude. So he must think his followers are vulgar and rude also.
You see, the women who watch The View would elect Whoopi Goldberg president if she ran.

Do you really think the MSM is on the side of conservatives? I haven’t, snce about 1980/85. Believe me, I read all kinds of opposite views. Sometimes they are funny, other times they raise my bp like the posts by Hillary’s fans. A friend on FB asked us if we did whatever our friends/relatives suggested. Nope. I have been reading for 60+ years so I am very capable of reading and deciding for myself. I even quit listening to Rush a few years ago because of the yelling. I have enough on my mind and do not need that kind of stress. I have had a disorder called Costochondritis for decades and stress makes it worse. Look it up. The symptoms mock a heart attack and feels like one. God bless.

People who don’t have a degree know they don’t have a degree. They aren’t stupid, and un-informed. Trump doesn’t call them stupid, he says he loves them. Do you realize how many people he does business with that don’t have a degree. Many construction business owners have 0 need for an advanced degree.

How is it that in many cases Trump has won the highly educated vote? If you didn’t go to Ted’s law school you are scum.

Neil Bush, the son of President George H. W. Bush, who defrauded U.S. taxpayers out of $1.5 billion dollars in the savings and loan scam, and later peddled influence for the Chinese government, (who plied him with Chinese prostitutes) has formally endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for president. You can’t make this stuff up.

Trump is buying support from some organizations and websites.

Also keep in mind DU, Soros and other left wing groups are running multiple false flag operations. They are here, too.
