Good job defending the homestead and for the parents teaching him how to handle a gun.
A brave 13-year-old Ladson boy fended off two hardened felons who were attempting to break into his house by using his mothers gun to protect himself while home alone.
The boy saw the men breaking into the back of his home, at which time he feared for his safety and grabbed his mothers gun, the document states. He began firing at them, and the Sheriffs office reported that they returned fire.
In a heated shootout, he shot Brown three times, and Bennett drove him to the hospital where he later died. The gray Chevy Sonic they were driving had bullet holes in it from the boy chasing them, the affidavit states.
Where is the media coverage of this brave young man. Without the protection of his mothers gun the boy, and probably his mother when she got home, would both be dead.
Guns Reports:
Two convicted felons intent on breaking into a Ladson, South Carolina, home last week were met with surprise when they came face to face with 13-year-old armed with a gun.

“Theres no way racebaiters can turn this to their advantage. No way. It will not fly.”.
...but...they were just turning their lives around...again...
The kid was obviously looking for trouble. Plus, he's a Southern white! /s
Why has this story not appeared on the news??? Why hasn’t this been on TV??
Is the reason this has not been on the news everywhere because it was a 13 year old and NOT a white cop????
Well done, son.
LOL! Very nice.
The boys mother, who is just thankful her son is safe, said she kept the gun in the home for personal protection, but she never taught her son how to use it.
I tell my kids that if anything ever happens to call 911, but I also tell them to protect themselves if they have to, the mother said. I never would have dreamed that this would have been a part of our day today.
The boy, who homeschools and is typically home with another family member during the day, did not wish to talk with reporters, but according to neighbor Debbie Griffin, who witnessed part of the attempted burglary, the boy wished the shooting never would have occurred.
Imagine what the outcome could have been for him and his mother when she returned home from work if he had not been smart enough to use the gun to defend himself and his home.
Obama would have made a presidential announcement, no doubt with fake tears, pushing his gun control agenda but because the boy used a gun and not only saved himself, but also took two hardened criminals off the streets Obama said nothing.
He’s 13 and in fear for his life against armed felons. Shooting at them until they flee is the right thing to do.
Nice shootin young man!
Happened last year.
You are Not serious,Are You ???
He appears ‘wiser’ than most adults.
Parent(s) not only taught him how to shoot BUT also schooled him in the way to answer questions whenever involved in a shooting.
First words uttered should be - ‘I was in fear of my life’, with the second sentence being
‘I think I need to see a Doctor, I am afraid I am going into shock’
Do NOT talk to press EVER. They most likely turn out to be not your friend.
Doesn’t take much for ‘I HAD to shoot’ into ‘I’m GLAD I shot’ which really starts the ball rolling....badly...
The demons are laughing at him for listening to the hate speech from blacklivesmatter, Sharpton, Jesse, and the other racists that prompted him to be a violent nobody.
The kid that shot him should get some kind of an award and a large cash prize!
Hopefully South Carolina has similar laws as Washington State. Completely legal to shoot at a fleeing felon (from an assault, major property theft, etc.) Although some recent cases have been brought into court by gungho liberal prosecutors. So far they continue to lose their cases.
Good shooting kid!
I hope that he won’t have any trauma over it. As the sniper in Vietnam was asked if he ever felt any remorse and the people he killed.
“That I killed!? No - but I think many times on the ones that I missed and how many of my brothers they went on to kill.”
A hero at age 13.
Ah. I see.
Yes, you have a point.
It doesn't advance the "guns bad" narrative, so into the memory hole it goes!
It’s still the first I’ve heard of it...That’s the shame of it..
Amen! A criminal felon committing another felony is a good target, no matter where they come from.
