On step at a time Rush.

You do what you can do one day at a time.

I think “Trump Democrats” are a real thing. The question is whether there are enough of them to compensate for the drubbing Trump would take in November with hispanics, women, and young voters. I doubt it and current (I know) polls reflect that .

Screw Rush, all day today he’s pushing cruz and attacking Trump. Time after time saying I’m not making fun of Trump I’m just continuing on as to what the “attacker” of Trump is TRYING to say.

Why doesn’t the big P**** just come out and endorse cruz already. At least then he wouldn’t be acting like such a pr*** with little hands!

I know they are for real, because I know some of them. They won’t ever admit it to another Democrat, and often not to each other, but some have told me because they know I support Trump. These are well-educated life-long Democrats who have never ever been tempted to vote for any Republican, with the exception of Giuliani. What seems to motivate them, mostly, or at least the ones I know, is an inability to vote for Hillary and keep their self-respect. This means that if Bernie is the nominee, they will revert to voting democratic.

I agree with you. Of course there are Trump Democrats...just like Reagan Democrats.

Rush is a poor sport. Not being fair to Trump

I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some crossover with Sanders and Trump. Both preach economic populist (bring the jobs back home) rhetoric.

They are livid about the unfair super delegate advantage given to Hilary Clinton.

It's anti american for all.

I’m inclined to believe that many democrats are voting republican, or even changing their registration, but I’m not sure that means they actually support Trump, or even a republican platform. In states with open primaries, the nature of the voting invites mischief that can harm Trump. In states with closed primaries, the registration changes can just mean that democrats want to infiltrate the voting to, again, harm Trump, or the GOP in general.

This isn’t necessarily reason to celebrate; it’s like the previously reported general dissatisfaction among liberals with obama’s presidency. It never meant they were inching toward the GOP, but, rather, wanted someone even farther to the left.

In short, democrats are not to be trusted, and especially in an election year.

Many of the Dem voters are highly "organized".

They know the value of the GOP nominating a certain loser (that would be Mister trump).

I once worked for a guy (creepy fellow, he), Berkeley grad, ultra-lib; and, he was a registered Republican.

His reason?

It was more important to vote a weakling into the GOP nom, than to select someone in his own Dem party.

He was not alone.

And, open primaries (long a Dem goal, get it?) have made this much, much easier.

Dems want trump as they know they can beat him.

.

I hope I am wrong, but I expect around the end of October, by which time the media will be finishing its third or fourth helping of Trump roast, nearly all these “Ditch & Switch” Democrats will revert back to form and a week later vote (as many times as they can get away with) for whatever name has a “D” next to it. The one thing which could upset things is Sanders running as the Socialist Workers’ Party candidate on the “Bern the Witch” platform. He might pull enough of the hard lemming left vote to swing some States away from Clinton. Really wish I could be more optimistic.

The crossover votes are real in Ohio. I have met enough of ‘em. I’m related to enough of ‘em. They want Trump for president. His rhetoric is enough anti-trade, pro-union, anti-job stealing immigrant that he sounds like the old Democrat party of the 50’s and 60’s. Then toss in his jibes in support of guns and religion and it gives him street red for the blue collar dems.

If Trump gets the blue collar uneducated white Democrat vote and Sanders get the young white educated Democrat vote then Hillary gets pasted in Ohio worse than she did Michigan.

If this is the Dem version of Op Chaos it is dangerous because Bernie is just viable enough to bring Hillary down if Trump draws enough votes away. This isn’t a President running a primary against little opposition like we had for Op Chaos.

The BIG question is, can Trump take Bernie?

No way Sanders is running 3P. He isn’t even going all in to beat Hillary in the Dem primary. The fix is in.

Let’s hope so, and if so it will be the second (third) time as far as I know. The first time was the election and reelection of President Reagan in 1980 and 1984

Rush is just playing it safe. Disappointing. We’re separating the wheat from the chaff in this election season.

Yesiree, a bunch of Democrats have switched to Republican here because they support Trump. Largest turnout in the caucus ever.
