Without Bill to protect her, she is nothing.
And I get the impression he does NOT want her to be President. From reported ‘off the record’ stories, to his half-hearted speeches for here (I KNOW he can do much better than this, if he wanted to), it is clear he does not want her.
And it is easy to understand why. She has been in his shadow forever.
Once she was president, she does not need him ever again. I have NO DOUBT that should would be willing to give him the Ft. Marcy Park treatment.
I don't think Hillary wants to be President.
She wants to be Supreme Empress.
Of course, she just wants the power and adulation. She will delegate all the work to her minions.
