IMHO Rush jumped the shark a few months ago. Going by the comments in this thread he has hit a new low with today’s broadcast.

It is *not possible* that Rush hasn’t been informed about his colossal on-air mistake re: the Field’s incident.
I can’t imagine he didn’t get 10,000 emails in 10 minutes telling him he was behind the curve and that even Breitbart was talking the story back.
Instead, he’s pointing to the fact that he is getting a lot of emails about Trump’s Tienanmen Square comments.
Is Rush going to wait til 2:55pm to mention his mistake-—or wait til tomorrow?-—or never mention it again?
It’s one thing to make the mistake because your researchers are behind the curve. It is quite another, not to correct the mistake when you become aware of the facts.
Rush: Correct your mistake on air today & give your correction the same amount of on-air time you gave your mistake.
No matter if you are for Cruz or Trump, this is inexcusable.
PS: As I post, Rush is misrepresenting Trump’s comments on Tienanmen Square (for the 2nd time) and quoting email from Trump supporters on the subject.
We will see what Rush does with his third hour...

Or at least that is Rush will claim when he sees his ratings, that he was secretly pumping up Trump. Truth is Rush has been all in for Cruz and I think he’s desperate to save Ted. Especially after Levin took off the mask and actually endorsed Cruz.
Its not new that Rush is trying to bring Trump down to help Ted, it’s just crazy, nuts, off-the-rails today.
