There are several rules that go along with speaking in tongues such as speaking one at a time & having interpretation, or keeping it to yourself. Paul said it is one of the least of the gifts of the spirit. There was a good reason for tongues at Pentecost as they were spreading the word to diverse groups of foreigners gathered in Jerusalem in their own language. Now in todays economy I question its utility. Not that there couldn’t be instances of use, but I would suspect they are fewer and far between.
