You should see the monster from up close. The elites are not even very elite. They lack heads, hearts, and courage. For the most part these folks inside the Beltway are LOSERS. They have never done anything real, like even fix their own plumbing. These are the guys who, never having served in the military, got us into Iraq as something in the supreme national interest - lining the pockets of the military industrial complex. Even though I live here, someone should just nuke the whole place. The country will be far better off.

We saw the results of that meeting last night: a quiet debate. The idea now is make sure none of the three remaining anti trump candidates take themselves out by looking petty. They are hoping for at least three of them to get enough votes to deny Trump a first ballot victory and the projections are that will happen. Meanwhile, the media is replete with venomous attacks on Trump here everyday in Fl. Today he is a draft dodger. I kind of missed which of the attorneys running against him was in the military but that is a side issue. These ads are funded by the same people who were at Sea Island, or their PACs, especially the one run by fat boy Rove.

These smart fellers must all need a calendar. Trump’s been in the race since June 2015 and has been winning for months. Only now they decide they have an emergency on their hands?

Short of the old ‘live boy/dead girl’ political disaster scenario, what do the mucky-mucks imagine they can do or say to stop Trump now? As Pat says, they have spent millions and spilled oceans of ink already to little effect. In fact, their smug preaching and snide insults have had the opposite of the intended effect. The GOPe is indistinguishable from the DNC in their sad, desperate, predictable use of tired old David Duke and KKK smears.

The talk of rigging the convention is just that - talk. Short Attention Span America is a problem but not in this case...they simply won’t stand for premeditated and obvious cheating no matter how many times DC talking heads explain it. On a practical level their only hope is Cruz and if Cruz goes along with it he risks a backlash and quite legitimate charges of hypocrisy. Surely he is clever enough to know that a rattlesnake curling around his leg isn’t there to give him a hug.

Note that the lefties aren’t moaning about Citizens United when all the dark money is spent on taking down the GOP frontrunner.

Buchanan, admittedly, has his own axes to grind with the GOP and the Bushies (possibly redundant) over his treatment in ‘92 in which he was the maverick candidate. But that only means he knows of that which he speaks.

Before this election, I was a card-carrying neo-con and oblivious of the control the oligarchs had in this country. My eyes have been opened, and no matter what happens in this election, I will never see things the same way.

I'm with you. My knowledge went only as far as the GOPe didn't even try to stop Obama. I just thought they didn't want to upset the applecart and were lazy.

Now, I see how 'they' are all tied together in a neat little bow. A year ago, I wouldn't have put Cruz into their group but, with the Bushes added to his campaign, I see Cruz is nothing like I thought he was. He may not be liked in the Senate, but that has more to do with his personality than his politics.

Rush Limbaugh mentioned this meeting a few days ago. He seemed to be unable to draw the connection between what they were planning and why they would back Cruz in order to carry it out.

There was much static on the radio, but from what I heard, he seemed perplexed as to why they would choose Cruz, who is, he claims, so hated by the Establishment. Limbaugh always fails to remember Cruz’s globalist voting patterns.

Limbaugh evidently never asks himself why the globalists want to stop Trump. They obviously consider Trump to be pro-American and that just want do.
