I used to be a Cruz supporter, but after Trump got hammered the first week on immigration and the various corporate boycotts, fought back and thrived, I’ve been all in. Cruz is a phony, to think otherwise is to just ignore the plain fact. He’s a lawyer and a politician. Tells you all you really need to know.

That’s absolutely exactly what I was thinking. Every answer, the cabana boys gave, circled eventually around to a snarky remark about Trump.
The exchanges about Islam was perfect. Trump throws out a six or seven word answer saying they hates us. I don’t know why. You tell me.
Then the rest of those bozos try to explain to us that they don’t hate us.
The disconnect is amazing.
The man will be our next president unless someone from inside shoots him. The only way that will happen is from someone who is dressed like security.

I didn’t see the article about how Trump was getting intelligence inf. by way of print media, but I would bet he’s already got some of the best and brightest prior service leaders advising him on defense matters. I wouldn’t be surprised if many of them reached out to him first, and, some are likely his friend and have been a part of his inner circle for many years.
Fox is supposed to carry it live - I suspect all of the cable stations will.

That just confirms that the GOPe is politically tonedeaf. The citizens are terrified of Islam. The citizens KNOW that all Muslims was us dead — or they wouldn’t be Muslims; it’s part of who they are. Yet Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich defend them and try to sort out the good ones from the bad ones. As someone once said, “Kill ‘em all and let God sort them out.”
