I didn’t see the article about how Trump was getting intelligence inf. by way of print media, but I would bet he’s already got some of the best and brightest prior service leaders advising him on defense matters. I wouldn’t be surprised if many of them reached out to him first, and, some are likely his friend and have been a part of his inner circle for many years.
I’d love it if Col Allen West was one of Trump’s advisors and he finds a good spot for him in the Trump admin. Possibly Col Ollie North, too. He’s been in the ME so many times.
