Yes they will push that narrative hard from now until the convention. It’s probably what they agreed upon at their Sea Island meeting.
Also expect to see more paid protesters bussed into Cleveland for the convention to give them cover and reason to steal the nomination away.
Rush won’t tell us if he was at the meeting until 4 years have passed and a newspaper prints an article about it.

I can’t believe Cruz blames Trump for this. Does that dirtbag have ANY integrity AT ALL? This happened to a member of his own party!
This helped Trump. He cancelled for good reason.

I hope Cruz supporters are coming over. They should know that this is where the fight is. If they don’t rally for Trump’s rights, they will come after any of our candidates.
Yeah we should. Just astonishingly astounded how low the GOP will go to keep the gravy train going. Trump just keeps on unveiling the masks behind the iron curtain. Cruz should have stayed out of this or taken the high road but all he wants to do is attack Trump, attack his voters, attack anyone in his way. I think he joined the establishment. He now sounds like Megyn Kelly, Bill Kristol and Debbie Wiseman Schultz against Trump. He needs to disavow the hatred going around against Trump by conservatives like The National Review, Glenn Beck, and Redstate. Instead he doubles down on their petty attacks. He’s come unglued because he can’t win. It’s rather sad to see. It’s also sad he duped his followers. The guy is a globalist. I wish it weren’t so but there is too much evidence. So he has had a complete meltdown.
Who knew? Only in Chicago does Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, Valerie Jarrett and Michelle and her husband get to deny someone their free rights to free speech at a venue they paid for?
Cruz is agreeing with Valerie Jarrett? Yikes. Even the Chicago Police like Trump and appreciate that Trump but the protesters freedom of speech ahead of his own in order to keep everyone safe.

Ted Cruz had a golden opportunity tonight to rise above politics-as-usual and deliver a statemanship-like comment about freedom of speech, etc.
Instead, in his whiny, grating, robotic voice he chose the low, opportunistic gutter from which to blame Trump instead of the real perps (including the media) of tonight’s fiasco.
