Drudge poll posts a notice “your vote has already been counted” or something similar.
Drudge uses poll monkey which is pretty sophisticated. It logs your mac address, your ip, your browser uuid amongst other things and restricts you to one vote. It used to be easy to sway polls. Use a browser macro... 5 lines of code, and you could sway a poll. Not anymore. It is hard to sway polls today... really hard. You honestly need a team of good programmers (linux guys) to do it. That freeper may have pressed the button 5 times, but he only got one vote.
It is why the Delaware votes are so interesting. Makes a coder go hmmmmmm. That was about 45,000 votes. Google could do it. Apple could. Some kid in his moms basement, nope.
