“Sold himself”? Bizarre. The same people who are not disturbed by Trump’s donations to Marxists throughout the country are feigning outrage over Cruz and the Bush family *possibly* forming alliances? Note that THEY are coming to him, not vice versa. Not one principle has been sacrificed.

They’re folks with deep ties to the GOP establishment.
In return for their support, Cruz is going to forgo his promise of change.
They’re not coming on board because they like him.

On virtually every issue about which conservatives have fought, Trump has been on the other side.

Policy is made from the top down, NOT the bottom up (with well run operations at least).
You put talent in positions to best SERVE YOUR agenda.

There should be hell to pay for rejecting the Tea Party Patriots. The “Progressives” in both parties tried to destroy the only coalition that stood up for the middle class.

I’d call that a hostile takeover.
When the time is ripe, Cruz can be easily discarded.

Trump is the All American. He loves a winner and he is a winner.
He may not be your type of American, but dang, you know he has America's back. Obama not so much.

This too will be denied or rationalized away by the followers of Cruz. There is always an excuse when Cruz bends his principles just as happened when Neil Bush and the Bush dynasty came into the Cruz campaign.

Personnel whose views are different from the candidate’s position says a great deal about what policies are likely to prevail in an administration.
And a President delegates all but the big stuff.

“Ted Cruzs new national spokesman, who replaced ousted spokesman Rick Tyler, came under fire last week for once hiring illegal immigrants and abusing the H-1B program when he was chairman of the Republican Party of California. “
Yeah, that’ll work....LMAO !!

Cruzbots will deny anything that conflicts with their view of Cruz as the true outsider.
Anything can be explained away. Just don’t follow the evidence!

No shortage of creativity when Cruz fans are giving Ted a pass. Just keeps getting worse. If Ted and the GOPe win, Christians and REAL conservatives will be worse off. None so blind as those who double down on dumb.
To: stephenjohnbanker
Perhaps he could be Ted’s chief of staff in the White House.

Trump has Trump’s back. CRUZ has America’s back.
I believe that Trumps cabinet and judicial selections will be disasters. Cruz will select the best people. He KNOWS all the best judges, and would never betray us on the courts.

It took me a while to see the ugly truth about Ted Cruz. But once that is seen, it can't be unseen.
To: M. Thatcher
"One of those people was Ron Nehring, then-chairman of the California Republican Party and the man who just last week was named Ted Cruz’s new national spokesman." Cruz does things like this and it brings his judgment into question. Either Ted is tone deaf to the base, or he is in opposition to it behind the scenes. I find Cruz to be quite different than his crafted story.

I’ve listened to e3very interview and rally that Trump has done, and have not heard this in the past TWO weeks. Crawl back under your rock. Trump can roll these people - Cruz can’t. Heck, Cruz can’t even pick good people surrounding his campaign.
