Less than a week until the first winner-take-all Republican primaries, Donald Trump is trouncing Marco Rubio on his home turf, according to a new Fox News poll.
In the race for the Republican nomination, Trump receives 43 percent among Florida likely GOP primary voters. Rubio is a distant second with 20 percent, closely followed by Ted Cruz at 16 percent. John Kasich comes in fourth with 10 percent.
Here is whats driving the vote: a 63-percent majority of likely Republican primary voters feels betrayed by politicians in their party -- and they go heavily for Trump over Cruz (49-18 percent), with Rubio and Kasich way behind (12 percent and 11 percent respectively).
In addition, just 48 percent of Sunshine State GOPers approve of the job Rubio is doing as senator, while 38 percent disapprove. Among voters who approve of his performance, Rubio bests Trump by 12 points, yet he trails the Donald by a whopping 62 points among those who disapprove.

Don’t know if I believe this margin, but I sure don’t believe the OH margin for Kasich.
I was so happy to vote for little Marco in 2010 then he stabbed us all in the back
I was reading earlier about Trump leading Kasich by a pretty decent margin in Ohio.
The spread seems to be between Kasich +5 and Trump +6 at this point with all but one of the polls having Trump in the lead.
Ohio will be the state to watch next Tuesday, apparently.
I believe Rubio is falling off in FL.
I also believe that if it gets too bad in terms of the polls (and IMHO that means if he does not show some real improvement by Friday), and after he reflects on his future career...he may well drop out.
That decision will not be based on these polls though...it will be based on their own internal polls.
Right now there is enough “chatter” about people in his campaign recommending things to him that those internals must also be showing things to be bad.
A number of polls out now with Trump in the 40’s and having a substantial lead over Rubio. As someone else suggested he should have WSJ/NBC do a poll for him. Hahahaha
You do know that none of those wines are made by any company associated with Donald Trump, right? As a matter of fact, there is a label on the bottle that specifically disclaims any connection to Donald J. Trump or his companies. The vintner is actually owned by Trump’s son, Eric.
If Kasich is within 5 points or less of Trump, he takes Ohio. Remember, he has had his organization in place for years, and managed to win 2 statewide elections by huge margins there already. He is a pretty popular governor, and he has his ground game perfected in that state. Add that to Trump's pattern of underperforming the polls, and I would think Kasich will win Ohio handily.
Why would anyone from Ohio vote for Kaisch? Obviously he has no chance of winning.
“Favorite son” and the chance to be a kingmaker at a contested or open convention.
One I saw this morning had Trump ahead by around ten points, if I read it accurately.
Really??? I thought Trump tended the vines and crushed the grapes with his feet. Thanks for putting me straight.
Marco is part of the reason Cruz could likely never win here either.
We’ve seen the pattern of “the insider’s outsider” before.
Who cares?
Same reason Texans voted for Cruz is my guess...he’s their guy.
Little Marco is finished.
He will drop out like Lindsey Graham did in SC, so that Trump won’t
Get the chance humiliate him and crush him.
Cruz 16 percent? I thought he had momentum.
