Oh Trump makes deals. Everyone in washington makes deals including Cruz. The difference is that Trump makes winning deals and he'll make deals that will be good for the country and the capitalist system.
I have to admit, as a Cruz supporter, that his griping about Mitch McConnell lying to him was all about Cruz making a deal and getting snookered by McConnell in it. So yeah, he makes deals too.
