Did they know they were being filmed? Why would they Make these statements and allow the film to be made public?

I would not trust them, but what is the agenda? Things are always as they appear to be.

Romney's a caricature of the offensive puffed-up Country Club jerk. He's Gilligan's Thurston Howell the third, without the bumbling charm and humor and WITH a big slice of ‘ new money jerk with airs’...

Had we gone to Central Casting we couldn't have found a better person to bring voters to Trump.

While not defending Romney, many people have said "I do for my country." Like I enlisted for my country because I want to get even with those jihadist bastages. Its a very common thing to say. To get bent out of shape because Romney said this is wrong and pc run amok. Now if you were to say Romney isnt doing it for his country he is doing it for himself one might give you more credence into that supposition. So I will insinuate that is what you really meant or you have denigrated thousands upon thousands of serviceman, and women, who have enlisted for their country as well.

Romney might be stupid enough to think it would harm Trump. Cruz might be next.

Watch how many states today and on the fifteenth where Kasich or Cruz wins, Trump is second, and Cruz or Kasich is third. That shows the impact of the GOPe strategy to stop Trump. Kasich is a willing participant as he sees himself as a brokered convention compromise candidate. Cruz is either a tool or a willing participant. He has no chance of the nomination but could be a VP pick in the GOP election sacrifice to Hillary.

Don't underestimate the power of the GOPe consultant class.

If Trump wins other highly competent successful citizens will know they too can run WITHOUT being accepted by 'Consultants' who tend to chose men who look good on TV, are 'personable' and EASY TO CONTROL. Jeb's the perfect example. He was able to raise millions and millions of dollars BUT was more than willing to let his 'consultants' spend it unwisely and 'like water'.

The balance of power between consultant and person running (AFTER TRUMP) switches back to the person running being in charge and the consultant being the employee. If that happens we'll start electing people with backbone who are capable ... rather than the shallow but likable impotent fools - the kind of people we've been electing. (Think powerless glad handlers with big smiles)

My point is the consultant class has a dog in this fight... the most important fight of their lives... their best dog. It's the most important fight of the country's life too: the quality of the people running the United States is on the table. The consultant class will fight smart and dirty and throw every kitchen sink they've got - their cushy corrupt livelihood is on the line.

It ain't gonna be pretty.

Interesting point.

AOL also reported that Mitt Romney is supporting Robot Rubio. Pathetic Romney sounds as if he is off his meds. For sure he is frantic and wants to grab power for himself so desperately that he ended up revealing that he is dirty (Greta's words) and willing to cheat and lie.

When the GOP primaries started with 17 candidates, two or three of them not nbc, my initial thought was, "Well, at least no Mitt>" But darned, like a bad penny, here is Mitt making a farce of the race.

Did anyone else hear Romney say he would run if drafted?

According to the FEC, Romney has reactivated his campaign fund.

Look at all the money the “consultants” are making from the anti-Trump PACs.

At the end of the day, he who has the most delegates wins. You get the most delegates by winning the state...regardless of whether it is proportional or winner take all. A one point win in a winner take all state far outweighs a blow out win in a proportional state...assuming the proportional state isn’t one like California and the winner take all one like Wyoming.

Rubio, Kasich and Cruz are all complicit...they would speak out and denounce the effort otherwise, which Cruz, sorta, kinda did...ish.

The gravy train ends when competent people run without large sums of money and paid handlers (using twitter and ‘the Trump path’) - - then and only then will the ‘more money than brains’ consultant greed be defeated.

It could be morning in America...

Oh, and have you seen this?

Gee, the consultant class must be happy as clams b/c Mitt has good hair....and loves to show it off on TV. Who else but Mitt would have taken the dumb job the consultants dreamed up to save their sorry rears?

Frankly, I/m just hoping and praying Mitt/s hair stylist is anti-Trump. Heaven knows what an errant hair clipper might do?

“Now, I am waiting for a movement to do a recall on Mitch McConnell.”

Well, under the Constitution you can’t recall a US Senator, but if Trump were to take over the RNC, that body could remove him from membership as a Republican, and the Senate Republicans “could” remove him as Majority Leader. And when all that happened monkeys would be flying out of someone’s butt!

Romney claiming that if he ran, it would be for his ‘country’ is in no way comparable to military service.

I’m sickened by his statement that if he ran, it was only for the good of the country.

I think you misunderstand what I’m saying. Romney would indeed be doing it for himself & to say he’s doing it for his country is a huge insult to all of those who have served.

Thwarting the will of the voters & hijacking the candidacy is hardly serving the country.

Not to mention that when he ran in 2012, when asked why none of his sons had served in the military, he arrogantly stated that they were serving their country by working in his campaign!
