I would suggest that she waited too long to engage him. When she suspected she was being stalked, she should have pulled down on him and told him clearly that if he continued to follow her, she would shoot him dead.

Too often, the perp will then anonymously call police and report "crazy woman threatening people with a gun", describing the woman, the gun, and her car.

Net result: woman gets pulled over, her gun taken, and that's one less armed woman on the street.

Your gun should be concealed until you need it to stop an attack. You should then empty the gun into the bad guy.

I’m not sure how many women agree with this; but, I think most women in these situations (which happen very often) try to not show fear. Showing fear seems to be what the bad guy wants and it starts a chain reaction.
