I’m honestly wondering if Cruz is intentionally sabotaging his campaign so he can get OUT of the race and back to his family with a minimum of embarrassment and without being seen as endorsing Trump by doing so.
Either that or he’s utterly tone deaf.
Or blindly ambitious.

Or blindly ambitious.He had the right idea at the beginning to ride in Trump's wake to a visible position and then run again in 4 or 8 years. But I think his donors are pulling his strings and insisting that he do this or try that. That's what Trump has been talking about. Owing people, especially if it's your wife's company, ruins a man.
