Here is an expanded fourth item from my "Albany Insider" column from Monday's editions:
Carl Paladino struck out Friday in his bid to get the state Republican party to formally endorse Donald Trump last Friday at its convention in Buffalo because the bombastic Buffalo businessman and his people did a bad job organizing, several GOP insiders said.

Even a number of county chairmen who are backing Trump wanted the state party to hold off to give the rank-and-file Republicans the chance to vote in the primary in April 19 without “the establishment telling them what to do,” the source said.
That seems reasonable to me. That’s what Trump is all about-—letting the people decide.
That really would have been “establishment” for the state party of NY to give an official endorsement BEFORE the voters have weighed in.
Can’t think of something more “elitist”!

Seems reasonable to me and I support Trump at this time.

Trump is going to win not only New York but the Tri State area. That includes Connecticut , New Jersey. And I believe Trump wins Pennsylvania, where he went to University.
I don’t see Cruz winning because while he likes New York money (Goldman, and Citibank and Hedge fund New York types like Mercer) He doesn’t like New Yorkers.
That remark alone will cost Canadian Cruz HUNDREDS OF DELEGATES. THESE STATES ARE ALL DELEGATE RICH.

Hard to organize the blind and stupid. I know what Carl was dealing with. Some are catching on, but the higher their position, the more stubborn they are. Figures, actually—they have more to lose in terms of their wee privileges.
