"Corrupt Marco Rubio has spent years defrauding the people of Florida.

As a legislator, he flipped on a key vote after making a quick $200,000 from selling his house to the mother of the bill's lobbyist..."

Oh boy! Trump getting hammered by multiple sources in FL, and now Trump going after Rubio. Maybe Cruz could actually slip through and win. Doubtful, but it could be interesting...

I hear what you’re saying, but.... I was Trump/Cruz, Cruz/Trump all the way until Trump went scorched earth. This is precisely why I don’t trust him. That poor woman, minding her own business, until Trump wanted what she had. Sure sucks to be her. You’re right, he doesn’t care if you like him or not. He can turn on the base on a dime and what’s to reign him in?

Reagan was never like this, and look at all the good he did during his administration. If Trump had only stuck with the issues. I can’t see this country reaping good when the man at the top has ugliness within him.

Rubio accepted $27,600 in political contributions from Corinthian Colleges, a for-profit education chain that shut down in April after a federal investigation found it had engaged in "predatory" practices.

Uh, hate to tell you this: ALL the remaining candidates have ugliness in them. Maybe Kasich, not so much on a personal level, but he more than makes up for it bad policy-wise.

Anti-Trump ads from “Club For Growth” are running in MO / IL markets. At least one pro-Rubio ad, too (PAC ad - not sure which one.) No Trump ads yet, that I know of, but I have to believe that for Trump to prevail, he’s going to have to start advertising heavily. There’s only so much media / Establishment onslaught anyone could take, unanswered, before it begins to take a toll. Trump needs to get back to his agenda, strongly.

I’ve only heard that Trump is running ads in FL and OH. I don’t know why he isn’t making more of a play for IL. On paper it should be a good state for him, but perhaps not if he doesn’t really try to win it. He’s going to be doing a big rally in Chicago, but he really should be running lots of ads and building up more of a ground game there.

I’m pretty sure that he only had one rally in IL last year (think it was in Springfield). If he doesn’t make any other appearances, the Chicago rally will only be his second in the state. I’m a little frightened that 2 rallies and a minimal ground game is not enough for a big, important winner-take-all state like IL. I wonder if Rubio doing so poorly on Saturday won’t hurt his momentum, perhaps allowing Trump to eke out a win (unless, of course, Cruz takes a huge chunk of Rubio’s votes and comes out with a surprise win himself).
