Sure pick a guy who won 2 actual primaries and a bunch of little attended caucus’. Great plan GOPe. You know this crap will just make trump stronger. His speech he’s giving right now is awesome. The gravy train is ending GOPe. That’s what they hate.

I am fairly certain those “little attended caucuses” would garner a lot more significance in your mind if Trump had won them.

Delegate count is delegate count...and based on the last round, Cruz is gaining ground.

For Cruz’s situation, there is also the issue of where Rubio’s delegates go if he drops out. They still get to vote at the convention. Do you see those committing to Trump?

Cruz has got just two primary states, ME needs to be looked at for sure, and he never won a county in some southern states including VA.

So that is the best the establishment has got or is it a case or pushing Cruz to take delegates and then they get their brokered convention. I think so.

Shame Cruz is just full of hatred in his attacks of Trump that he can’t see what is happening.

The majority of the votes this nominating cycle are going to Trump, then Cruz. What would be the point on picking Kacish or Rubio? From the looks of it, Cruz is beating both of them.

It’s too late for the GOPe to align behind Cruz. And even if they did, I doubt Cruz would welcome the opportunity, especially after what they did to him in the Senate. So let’s say they back Cruz and miraculously they dispatch Trump. Does anyone doubt that as soon as that happens they file to make Cruz ineligible based on citizenship?

This is pure media hyperbole to keep the story alive. I like Cruz, but I am also a realist. Trump will be the nominee, Cruz will eventually back Trump, Rubio and Kacish will take their money and go back to whatever it was they were doing.

Relax. Trump wants to win a contest; he's not asking for a coronation. Trump himself has asked for a one-on-one with Cruz. He knows that those of us who are trying to be Cruz delegates are least likely of the three remainng Trump alternatives to cooperate with GOP-E shenanigans, and half the Establishment hates us more than Trump (Big Ag could probably deal with Trump, big Political Consultancy can probably deal better with Cruz).

If it winds up Trump vs. Cruz, the Jennifer Rubins of the world may go away and make room for regular folks and ardent conservatives. Some of us prefer Cruz because of the kind of conservatives we are, just as Trump supporters have valid reasons for supporting Trump. Let it play out. Trump is doing fine, and he will have more opportunities in Michigan and the big northeast states.
