I’m one that still thinks Cruz better represents my conservative views on a host of issues that I care about.

However, if the rest of the Republican party waits until after March 15 to decide that Cruz is preferable to Trump in a two person race, then it probably won’t matter at that point.

Once Trump wins the winner-take-all states of Florida and Ohio, his lead will be too large to overcome, even if Rubio and Kasic’s supporters coalesce around Cruz in a two person race. Cruz would win the remaining proportional states by at best 60-40. And the two delegate rich winner-take all states that Cruz is likely to win (California and Pennsylvania), will not be enough to overcome likely Trump wins in New York and New Jersey.

We do not know anything because the GOPe could be doing this while actually preparing Romney to destroy the current Republican Party and lose to Hillary for an exclamation point.

And it’s meant to be a “Kiss of Death”.

The ‘stop Trump’ campaign is just an addendum to the GOPe’s original ‘stop Cruz’ campaign.

I am not even reading through this stuff. The only thing for sure is:

Cruz is done. The GOPE is done. ROMNEY is really, really done.

They will all be forced to stop the bluster eventually and accept TRUMP.

The media is enjoying the drama and stoking the noise for ratings, but it’s all theater.

TRUMP 2016

It is too late. They should not have played their normal destroy the candidates they do not like one by one until only rinos are left. The constant anti-Cruz hate fest for years has done its job.

The stupid thing is that Trump is their guy if they look at his positions and how he is willing to change positions. He would have worked with the rinos, caved to them and made deals with them. I have never seen such stupidity from a group of people.

hardly a surprise since the establishment has got cozy with Cruz and Cruz has been getting cosy with the establishment.

Cruz needs to understand that he is being used and once he has done their dirty work they will stab him in the back.

And there isn’t a darned thing he’ll be able to do about it, they’ll make sure of that.

Cruz has got just two primary states, ME needs to be looked at for sure, and he never won a county in some southern states including VA.

So that is the best the establishment has got or is it a case or pushing Cruz to take delegates and then they get their brokered convention. I think so.

Shame Cruz is just full of hatred in his attacks of Trump that he can’t see what is happening.

Exactly right. Trump has as much as been pleading with them to accept him as he will be ‘flexible’ and ‘the most politically correct guy in the world’.

It has been said many times that the republicans care little for Cruz because he is all for himself.

There is no way that Cruz would ever give his delegates to Trump and the establishment just wants to use him to get their convention.

Yep. I particularly enjoy looking at all those photos of Ted snuggling together in the halls of congress with Boehner, McConnell, etc.

Got anything else?

The GOPe hate both Trump and Cruz. The only reason they would ever think about supporting Cruz over Trump is that Cruz had an “R” behind his name longer. Both Trump and Cruz are outsiders re: the GOPe.

The ballots themselves were unnumbered.

A necessary 'oversight' to make it impossible to audit and verify a voting result.
