Reagan was my first Presidential election. I was 19 that year, 1980.
I remember the disaster of Jimmy Carter, and being disgusted with him. Even at that young age.
The 80’s WERE a great decade, because we had a President who loved America, loved BEING American, and loved everything American.
And it showed.
Same here; I voted for Ronaldus Magnus in ‘76...
Upset when he didn’t win; was overjoyed when he won in ‘80.
