As long as we’re speculating on possible and effective VP choices, how about Giuliani? He and Trump together deliver NY? Strong ticket even if it would drive the social conservaties nuts. Giulianni is a strong law and order conservative. I would vote for that ticket even if not perfect, and I’m a string social conservative. Have at it.

Not Kasich. The Condit connection will be front and center, as well as the S&M club.

Not Bolton. RINO globalist.

Yes to Arpaio, Miller, Carson, Noonan (didn’t she write for Reagan?).

“when only two people in all of America believed it- me and Trump.”

He writes for TownHall and it’s “me and Trump”? How about “Trump and I”?

The constitution prevents 2 people from the same state on the ticket receiving the votes of the electors of that state during the election.

12th amendment: "The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; "

This is a pretty good plan. But I would go with a different VP.

They are thinking it’s the way to win Ohio.

The downside is that it’s two old white guys.

My favorite Shock and Awe pick is Sheriff David Clarke of Milwaukee, regular guest on Hannity.

My party unity candidate is, of course, Ted Cruz.

My favorite cross over/blue collar pick would be democrat Jim Webb.

My favorite, “Let’s kill this ticket and lose” pick is Jeb Bush.

“Reagan adding Bush helped Reagan because Reagan didn’t get sabotaged the way Goldwater did.”

Right, so shouldn’t Trump follow Reagan’s example?

“I get a sense you are really pumping for Kasich. “

Really? wow, no not at all. I was just agreeing with the author of the article’s theory.

“Are you a fan of his, supporting him in this election, or from Ohio? Because I personally can’t stand his smarmy ass and his oh so moderate adult tone. “

No I’m not really a fan at all. He’s GOPe. And his claim to fame is he “has the experience”, which for me, is NOT what we need.

I simply want Trump, if Kasich gets me Trump then I’m fine with him.

What I am saying is that Trump does not need the establishment's help. Everyone hates them for being the establishment. There was no such sense in 1980, no social media, no blogs or right wing talk radio. Reagan needed their money. Trump doesn't. Reagan hated Bush and didn't want him, but he was talked into it. In retrospect, it was his worst mistake.

Trump should not repeat the mistake. He can win without sucking up to the GOPe, and he will be more popular for not doing that.

If he picks Kasich, I will still support him, but not as enthusiastically, and I fear that many won't support him at all.

“He can win without sucking up to the GOPe,”

That would be the most satisfying outcome!

We can only hope. Donald is our last chance to make American great and RESPECTED again.
DONALD IS OUR ONLY VOICE
The corrupt career politicians are scared to death of him.

God protect Donald. We need him.

Concurring bump. Totally. The Bushmen basically did a palace coup, one job at a time. By the time it was "Bush's turn" in 1988, there wasn't a Reaganaut left in the Administration except for (perhaps) Ed Meese. The Bush people pushed them out and tried to corner Ronnie from their first day in office. Reagan's biggest day-to-day fight was to keep James Baker and the rest of the Bushbots from painting him into a corner.

Nixon didn't like Bush, either, but Bush knew a ton of people (Bonesman and all that) and was always underfoot, wanting something. Nixon eventually appointed him to run the RNC just to get rid of him. (From a tale out of school passed along by L.A. Times writer Murray Kempton, who became a lunch-buddy in Nixon's San Clemente retirement years.)

Bringing Kasich on board works. Same as Reagan bringing HW Bush on board, satisfies the Establishment.

Better pick: J.C. Watts, just to totally frost their grits. They couldn't complain about his choice -- that'd be RAAA-cisss!, lol.

You know, of course, that he will do none of that?
