I agree with you, but our people are pretty much committed to Trump.
Times are relatively calm. No recent terrorism. Warm weather coming.
As soon as there is some renewed terror or something, then Trump will get the support.
No one seems to be persuing the Birth issue with Cruz.

Im about off for the day.. yard work, hair cut, mexican taco day and maybe a movie. Deciding between Race and Eddie.. both athletic based on true stories. Might stop in to change along the way and no doubt the computer will again snare me for some time

One package of powered au jus (could substitute French onion). I have only used the au jus. both the french onion and au just might make it too salty but if you are going with a 5-7 # roast it might be okay

I suspect Trump will surprise a lot of people in his VP selection. I think it will be someone completely off the radar, and will be an exceptional candidate in virtually every aspect.
I would like to see my former IL. US Senator, as that person: Peter G. Fitzgerald. He was the only candidate to defeat a sitting US Senator in the 1998 election cycle, defeating Carolyn Mosley Braun; the first African American female ever elected to the US Senate. (By the way, I despise the term African American.)
IL. is without a doubt, one of the most corrupt states in the nation, having consecutive governors imprisoned. First- Rep. George Ryan, followed by Dem. Rod Blagojevich.
Fitzgerald earned the ire of his party (the uniparty/combine) to such a degree that they coalesced into an opposition group and threatened to primary him. It’s a long story but IL. Rep. Congressman Ray LaHood, 18th CD, and being my congressman, was the lead hack to drive Fitzgerald out of office. Obama eventually won Fitzgerald’s Senate seat, and appointed LaHood as his Secretary of Transportation. Think about that for a minute.
FWIW: There is much more in the way of shenanigans that is germane to this story, but would require a lengthy explanation, one I’d like to author, but not at the present time.
I plan on contacting the Trump org. to make my recommendation for Fitzgerald, to be considered as his VP, and will do say at that time.
Just to repeat for background to this story: Illinois had consecutive governors imprisoned for multiple felonies.

Thank God I was watching FBN! Varney, Napalatano et al agreed that the whole lawsuit is a Dem Attorney General trying to help take out Trump. One guy on the panel says that even Starbucks gets a D- on the BBB website

Me too though this election is starting to feel like so many others, rigged. I said earlier, this overperforming/underperforming meme is suspicious. Polls go out and ask voters who they support, that doesn't flip 20 points in a day or two. As far as the undecided vote, those people often just sit it out. So I'm not buying the "don't look behind the curtain" deal.
The GOP will do anything to stop Trump and propping up Cruz is next on their list. They're giving him cash and not attacking him in media.
Listen to the first sentence in Lou Dobb's opening tonight. Though he does hammer Trump for the rest of it but none as damning as his first couple of sentences on Cruz
