Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” radio talk show host Glenn Beck likened Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler in an interview with host George Stephanopoulos.

Actually funny. If Trump even wanted to be like Hitler, he’s too old to achieve that kind of control. He might last one term to begin the turning around of our country.

Beck is eccentric but I understand what he is saying. He’s speaking of the Hitler in 1929, not the murderous monster of 1940.
And if Trump would not do things like ask people to raise their hands to make a pledge to vote for him, the comparison would not have been so obvious. Trump does everything he does with intention, though. And he causes upheaval in that regard.
He’s coming to Chicago on the 11th, and already there are over 7K people signed up to protest his arrival.

Yes. Trump is old. It's my guess he's on the same medications as Hillary and Sanders - heart and/or thyroid medications. That's why I don't think he can make it to the end of the primaries. His "meme" is high energy, and his attempt to fake it is going to do him great harm.
Trump is 69 years old. In 3 months he'll be a 70 year old man.

Inclusive of Beck's statement is equating Republicans with Nazis. A common left wing, don't have to be far left wing, libel.
I am aware of the Nazi party and the Republican party, not of the Trump party, he's running as a Republican.
In 1929 the Nazi party which Hitler headed had a bit less that 200,000 members, about to expand, but still a relatively small percentage of the population. Lots more Republicans if you accept, as beck must else the comparison falls apart, that Trump is the head of the Republican party. OK, Trump runs the GOP
The SS was just being birthed in 1929. The SA was young, only around thirty thousand but also on the brink of a tenfold expansion the next few years. The GOP, unless Glenn knows something I don't, the GOP's military arm pales next to the Vatican's. Who could rout the GOP guard using their pikes, if they only could find them. No knock on the Swiss Guard, rather on Beck's absurd comparison, Hitler would not have risen to power were it not for his armed supporters.
Second time today I've posted defending Trump from nonsensical accusations from Hollywood's left and whatever Beck is, the region where purported conservative activists visit the strategies of the left. And I'm not even a supporter.
That law needs to be revised or amended to include “When liberals cannot debate an issue they will resort to calling a political opponent Hitler”

I used to really love Glen Beck.... but now I think he needs to get a grip.
