Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” radio talk show host Glenn Beck likened Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler in an interview with host George Stephanopoulos.

It’s not protecting Trump from Beck, it’s protecting Cruz from Beck. This nut will bring Cruz down.

Illegal Mexican immigarants broke American laws and mohammedums declared war on America. They have forfeited their natural rights and are an objective danger to the country. Their removal from the country is an expression of rational justice.
Which comes close to the real evil of these accusations. Whether Trump, or GWB, or figures on the left. If Trump and GWB are like Hitler, throw in Obama and Hillary, the horrors you reference weren't a function of Hitler or the Reich, which presumably is like America. Within a few generations, Hitler is normalized, just a regular politician. Who even today prominent political figures would suggest we overreacted to.
On occasion I've suggested the long term impact of cleansing us of the Battle Flag or statues of Confederates in an attempt to erase the Confederacy from history will be to erase the issue of slavery as well. Not suggesting they were one in the same. Same for the selective erasure of Native American "symbols". Nice of the University of Illinois to get rid of Chief Illiniwek. After all he dressed as a Sioux, not of an Illini Confederation tribe. But that wasn't the issue, and imo the long term result is that students will no longer have a clue as to the nature of the name of their team, "The Illini", nor that Illinois Confederation tribes ever inhabited the area.
I guess, logically, that would make Trump supporters like Nazis. I would like to meet Glenn Beck. I would explain to him that I have two sons who never would have existed if their maternal great-grandfather had not moved his family out of Germany before things got bad. Their maternal great-grandmother was a Jew. I’d explain that to Beck, then I would kick his ass.

You completely miss the point. Cruz needs to dump Beck for the good of his own campaign.
Good points but I do hope Cruz keeps Back on the team. He is such an asset to them.

Trump isn’t “like Hitler.” But the circumstances that led to Hitler are now manifest in the U.S. Things haven’t quite gotten to the pass where they were in Weimar Germany, but they’re getting there.
really? he worries me. i feel like i am seeing the candidate obama all over again in candidate trump. constant complaints, big promises but no solid plans to provide (yes even his healthcare was only a framework). then there is the public swooning over him with no real evidence of what he will do just like with Obama. i most likely will vote for him if nominated but i have alot of heartache with him especially since we now know about the illegals/H1B visa folks he hires, his feelings on PP, his “flexibility”, his big donations to politicians at all levels of government. what really bothered me the other night is that he said that he does what needs to be done in business. well duh. so that makes him exactly like every other business that is using politicians to get what they want including hiring foreigners over americans. he is part of the same system of which he says he is not.
Glenn Beck is auditioning for the part of Joseph Goebbels, with his big lie technique. He has some pretty stiff completion, David Brook, Dana Milbank, Bernie Goldberg, Charles Krauthammer, Bill Kristol, Jeremy Diamond. So many choices, it’s hard to decide which one is the best for the role of Goebbels.
Hillary is like Joseph Stalin at the peak of his power in the late 1940s. This is fun. You just throw out a comparison, no evidence, and wait for the victim to squirm. Except Hillary would probably feel flattered, and maybe even inspired to emulate her inspiration.
