I remember seeing that. Wasn’t Mrs. Reagan stunned and commented about so many people remembering him? I just remember I cried when I heard Pres. Reagan had passed away. Just like I am today. Godspeed and God Bless, Mrs. Reagan.

Do you remember the hundreds of thousands lining the route for Reagans funeral procession?...I do, I was glued to the TV the whole week after he died.
I don't believe America has ever had such a beloved President.

“Come on. Keep it off the obituary threads.”
Humor is often the best way to embrace an emotional loss. In my family, we celebrate the loss of a loved one by celebrating their life. Humor is a part of it. It helps remove the sting from death.
I am not a Trump supporter.... sorry I forgot to mention it as /s alluding that a statement like that would cause her death!
Nancy was quite a character in her own rite... Remember the White House astrologers? I have admired her as she always had class and a bit of spunk.... remember how she refused to bow to the Queen of England?

Texas has a hell of a record for Presidents. 1 LBJ and 2 Bush’s.

Naw he was fine. We were discussing proper etiquette on obituary threads. He served up an example (tho not on an obituary thread) of me slamming Ted Kennedy. So, taking a cue from liberals, I called him a racist.

Nancy was cool. Wasn’t it her that said she kept a little gun under her pillow, even at the White House? That was awesome.

I was pretty young when he died. It wasn’t until I was 14-15 when I really understood just how amazing he was.

Hi, just got home from church, and I had seen on my computer FoxNews reporting that Nancy Reagan had passed on at the age of 94.

Obituary threads are never the place for that. Agree completely, not to mention Ronald and Nancy Reagan were the best thing that happened to this country in our lifetimes.
