In the Kansas Republican caucus, very early returns have Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas in the lead. With 3 percent of the results in, Cruz has 53 percent of the vote, followed by Donald Trump with 21 percent, John Kasich with 15 percent, and Marco Rubio with 10 percent. The Kansas Republican Party released a statement earlier Saturday, saying turnout across the state was "incredible," with some locations reporting "four of five" times the number of voters who came out in 2012. Republicans are also caucusing today in Kentucky and Maine, and holding a primary in Louisiana.
Sorry, I don’t need polls. Cruz will lose to Hillary and that will be the end of any conservative ever having a prayer of winning.
Vote Cruz? GOPe wins and that will be the end of it!
I don’t much care. I will stay home. Doesn’t matter to me. the people who stayed home last election were seen as mavericks. I can do that too.
Here’s the negative stuff:
1) Professional whiner Ben Carson got the ball rolling and called Cruz a “liar.”
2) Then Trump, who once likened Ben Carson to a child molester, pretended to be offended and called Cruz: “liar.”
3) Then the opportunist Rubio, when he was challenged by Cruz and could not defend his record, joined in: Liar”!
That set Cruz on his heels for as long as 2 1/2 weeks, but now people are realizing that the Liar-shouters were themselves lying...and Cruz is now winning.
BTW, Cruz isn’t just winning in Kansas today, but in Maine :-)
I wonder how Cruz operatives and the GOPe are manipulating this one?
“The status quo. It must, and shall be defended at all costs!”
Cruz will win caucus States because it’s easy to cheat. Where people vote.. Donald WINS.
I agree with you. The early leaks are psychological manipulation. Just like the media called Florida for Gore in 2000 before the panhandle polls closed.
Who is your County Chair again? I forget but the State GOP Chair is Kelly Arnold and he's from the Wichita area!
What gives?
Are you a Precinct Committeeman? If not, fill out the paperwork and get it notarized so you can become a party leader in your area.
The word “globalist” means absolutely zero to 90% of voters. It’s a buzzword for those very politically active on the right.
There is some real dirt out there yet on Cruz. I will stay home because I want no part of it.
You could not cheat at the Kansas caucus. That’s why it takes so long. You have to show ID and then you get to vote. There are LOTS of workers watching everything.
Go to RCP they are there. But it doesn’t matter.
But you voted for Panamanian John McCain in 2008?
Trump supporters get all angry and furious when #NeverTrump is bandied about.
So as a Trump supporter, are you a #NeverCruz?
Good grief.... freakin’ caucus.
You mean “Democrat people” right?
“Not really, if Trump is not the nominee, they will end up voting for Hillary.
These people will not vote for Cruz.”
It’s true the new Trump voters aren’t going to suddenly be enthusiastic about Cruz. But more likely than go to Hillary, they just won’t show up to vote. Sadly, the party simply doesn’t have the numbers to win in this country anymore if they can only attract evangelical conservatives. That ship has sailed. Too many heathens and leeches for that.
Here is the link to the head to head polls at RCP. Point one out to me.

I am saying that Cruz will not be the recipient of crossover Trump voters.
He has no path to win the general election.
Didn’t start out that way. But yes. Never, ever will I vote for Cruz.
:)
Will write it down and remind you. Thank you.
