In the Kansas Republican caucus, very early returns have Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas in the lead. With 3 percent of the results in, Cruz has 53 percent of the vote, followed by Donald Trump with 21 percent, John Kasich with 15 percent, and Marco Rubio with 10 percent. The Kansas Republican Party released a statement earlier Saturday, saying turnout across the state was "incredible," with some locations reporting "four of five" times the number of voters who came out in 2012. Republicans are also caucusing today in Kentucky and Maine, and holding a primary in Louisiana.

In Johnson County, we had 11 voting sites and still long lines. Got there at 10:30 and finally left at 12:30!
Choose Cruz or lose.
Currently Cruz polls better against both Clinton and Sanders than Trump does.

True, but by and large Cruz has been spared any negative attention so far because of Trump. If he takes a lead, watch the oppo start to flow like water. Suddenly, he’ll become America’s Nightmare instead of Trump. Just watch.

Either the polls are correct, like the ones that show Trump winning the nomination, or the polls are garbage, like the ones showing Cruz does better than Trump in the general election.

If CRUZ is the nominee, I hope every freedom loving American will support him and urge Independents to do the same.
Cruz has been hit from all sides with negative garbage. Plus Cruz has not benefited from the free media Rubio and Trump have received.
