True, but by and large Cruz has been spared any negative attention so far because of Trump. If he takes a lead, watch the oppo start to flow like water. Suddenly, he’ll become America’s Nightmare instead of Trump. Just watch.
Cruz has been hit from all sides with negative garbage. Plus Cruz has not benefited from the free media Rubio and Trump have received.
He came into the race with incredibly high negatives. He was the “bomb-thrower” who “shut down the government” and is “the most hated man in D.C.”
Through the primary season and the debates, Cruz’s negatives, both among Republicans and the general electorate, have shrunk.
Those are just the numbers.
