I was not impressed by the uniformed LEOs at the Trump event I attended, but the obvious plainclothes people seemed up to handling anything serious. Glenn knows exactly how fast he'd be rendered unable to threaten so much as a box elder bug, but I guess he assumes that he still has an audience who appreciates some fluffing.
