Not even the same. Cruz has Beck on the stump campaining for him. Trump has no such affiliation with the KKK and there was no endorsement.
Why hasn’t Cruz issued a statement about Beck’s threats?!
Last time I checked, that is considered a felony.
Cruz needs to kick him off the team ASAP.

I stopped listening to Beck a few years ago when his shows started to ramble. I realized it was a great waste of my thinking hours even to have him on as background noise. Now I listen to the Salem media network with Mike Gallagher at AM 1250 the Answer, Pittsburgh PA.
I am very much disenchanted with GB (starting with the teddy bear nonsense). BUT... if you listen very closely to the end of the clip at DC, Stu is giving him a hard time about some silly little thing he said about “sitting in their shoes.” Stu was teasing him about sitting in shoes. And GB was referring to stabbing STU, not DT. If you have listened to these guys and hear how they tease each other, that was what this was all about, not a threat to Trump.
Is Cruz going to renounce this? BECK needs to be taken away in a straight jacket.
Beck is always spouting about Gandhi and MLK, and yet he talks about pulling a shank! Where’s the love, Glenn? Where’s the turn the other cheek? I guess passive resistance only applies when the government is the adversary.
As much as I detest Trump, Glenn Beck seems to be certifiably insane.

Glenn Beck said that he’s slowly going blind from macular dystrophy. Seems to me that he’s suffering from something far worse, such as a dystrophy of the frontal lobe of his brain or some other form of early-onset dementia. His family and friends should put him in a home.
You can tell he fantasizes about killing him. He is obsessed with Trump on his show and seethes with hatred.

If so, that takes Trump’s comment even further away from the type of threat Beck was clearly fantasizing about.

I hope you are right for Beck's sake, because even though they have suffered thru 7 years of Obama, I am sure the Secret Service does not mess around with someone making threats to someone under their protection.
And this is the guy that National Review chose as one of it’s 22 anti-Trump essay writers last month. I’m hoping the day comes when someone of influence takes a look at NRO’s body of work of constant Trump bashing and takes them to task.
