Buck Knives have a manufacture date code on them.

This is the first thing to check. If the knife was manufactured in 1995 or later it is immediately ruled out.

In this case, the term ‘buck knife’ may be generic, I really don’t know. It may be a knife that resembles a buck knife but Chinese copy. we won’t know until they release the pics.................
