Godwin’s law.

The first person to invoke the Nazis or Hitler loses the argument.

It’s really a specialized case of the “ad hominem” rule in debate, where logical fallacies disqualify the speaker.

It's a stupid 'law', too. Sometimes, men are just as evil as Hitler, and bear comment. But of course, in these days of political correctness, and liberals (starting first on Usenet) citing Godwin's 'Law', Hitler cannot be named.

Look, I'm not defending the AJC. Trump might be a bad President. No, I don't think he'll be a Hitler. But when we tell everyone, "you can't mention Hitler", well, it's stupid.

“Godwin’s Law” was and is bullcrap.

The “Trump/Hitler” cartoon, like the “Bush/Hitler” cartoons before it, is also bullcrap.
