GW Bush respected the office of the presedent, trump respects nothing.
I like GW and voted for him twice. In the end, he was a disappointment because led us into a long and ultimately failed foreign policy of endless nation building and occupation. He did not fight back successfully against Democrats. He surrounded himself with people like Colin Powell (who supported Obama BTW). He chose John Roberts. Were we better off before his respect for the office or after it ? How many lives were squandered in his attempt to nation build in Mesopotamia ? Was the economy better or worse due to his extended nation building wars and inability to restrain spending and the growth of government ? He left us McCain and an Obama landslide.
