Rush is urging people to stop criticizing Trump because it only helps him! How do you stop a tsunami Rush? Pretty frustrating.

Regarding Jim Robinson and if Trump wins the nomination (God Forbid):
There wouldn't be any point in voicing continued NeverTrump opposition here and irritating my fellow FReepers just because I'd be bitter so I wouldn't do it. I'd probably take a little break and continue to pray for Trump, Cruz, Rubio, the GOPe, the Trumpsters and myself et al and quietly look for a third party. I'm sure there are a good number of Trumpsters that will do the same thing when Cruz wins.
Vote your conscience and always vote!
I will as energetically and enthusiastically campaign for Cruz as I do for Trump. I just think Trump is the better vessel for a 1st wave attack on the PC inertia that grips DC
Trump is merely the 1st wave of a multi wave assault. The 1st wave job in any assault is to shatter the defenses and open the road for the follow up waves. No matter how flawed you think the vessel is, Trump is the best 1st wave political assault team we have had to hand in my lifetime.
We need to use Trump for all he is worth to shatter the corrupt, PC inertia that controls our Government. Break that inertia and change is possible. Do not an we slide into a stagnate European style decline that will not end in my lifetime. Cruz shares that agenda point but is not as well equipped by background and media following to achieve that break through as Trump
This is our generation’s “go” time. We either win this now or we have little chance of ever doing it again politically. I am really not willing to leave this fight to my kids and grand-kids.

Rush seems to be a very indirect 3 hour infomercial for Ted Cruz. Why are there so few Trump supporters that get through? All of the callers that get through the screener say “I hate the establishment” “Donald Trump is making the right statements” but then they state that they believe Ted Cruz is the only one who can get done what is needed.
That would fail too, because Obama would veto it. And you know that.
As to the "show votes," Trump is complaining that Rubio didn't show up for ' show votes,' maybe he should hire you since he obviously doesn't see things as clearly as you.

The Republican congress has been the best thing to happen to Obama. He got more from the drunk John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and now Paul Ryan than he ever got from Pelosi and Harry Reed.

When is Ted Cruz going to denounce Romney's support?
I’m furious at Romney.
He is helping Trump.
I voted for him and he let me down by not attacking Obama as hard as he should have.
And now, he’s saved all that vitriol to go against Trump?
What he’s saying about Trump is largely true but he should not be the one saying it.
He has shot his wad with everyone.
That will never happen and they are making a huge mistake to try it.
People should support Ted Cruz.

I watched some of Trump's speech from Portland, Maine a half hour ago.
Boy did he barbecue Romney! Not in a bitter way though. It was the art of the funny and effective put-down.

Ted Cruz is a good choice. He’s conservative; has gone against the E’s, is proven to do so.
He doesn’t have the baggage that Trump has.

I think Cruz supporters are calling because they know they will get a fair hearing from Rush.
As for Rush supporting Cruz... he is right to do so.
Trump is a disaster waiting to happen. There only two possibilities with a Trump nomination.
One: He can’t beat Hillary.
Two: He does beat Hillary.
Either way we’ll have a horrible president.
The ONLY thing I can say for Trump is that he would be a bit less horrible.
