The things you mention to me as Trump lies, his net worth not being 10b but rather 4b, and his not being responsible for the bankruptcies of companies.
I don’t know those things to be lies. If it turns out trump is a liar, then that’s what happens. I don’t defend liars.
I think people who lie demonstrate a lack of character, and character matters in terms of a president.
Now what I can do is forgive a person for lying.
I’ve already said that I support a Trump/ Cruz ticket, so in order to do that I would have to forgive Cruz for the lies I believe he has told, wouldn’t I?
And if it came to light that Trump lied, then I would have to weigh those lies and see if they are reason enough for me not to support him.
But here’s the thing. As I weigh the character of these men running for president, who is on the other side of the scale?
Hellary Clinton.
So do I let my assessment of Cruz lying about X, and Trump lying about X land me with Hellary as president, who lies about every, single thing all day long?

My assessment of Trump’s position on abortion is that he is a former supporter of abortion who has since changed his mind and does not support it any longer.

Here is my biggest thing I don’t like about Cruz. It’s the granting of negotiating authority to the Obama administration on the Iran deal - and ignoring the Constitutional requirement for a vote on a Treaty.
Cruz should have known better - but he voted for it - directly undermining the Constitution.
I know - that is a stretch for someone with a warped and retarded mind that supports Trump, but really, do you hae an explanation for that?

IT really is stunning. The supposed greatest “Constitutionalist” of our time, Ted Cruz, cast U. S. Senate vote to violate the Treaty Clause. Very curious.

Trump has the most conservative position on immigration. He bought the rest of the field his direction with them kicking and screaming.
You should concede that trump is conservative on immigration - lets experiment, and see if you can utter any agreement in that regard.
