1. Most of us have left the Levin show as we feel he has become biased but won’t officially endorse Cruz. We miss him, but we are finding other talk shows or websites and doing our own research. As I have told you before, I bought all his books, listened to podcasts often more than once. I am gone now...there is life after Levin.
2. Most people supporting Trump consider your vitriol and personal attacks to be disappointing and uninspiring....no substantive thoughtful points that actually advance debate or knowledge...just insults and nastiness. Most Trump supporters are just not going to give you the pleasure by commenting...You know, “Don’t feed the troll”

Sadly, you are one of the ones tearing apart Free Republic with your vitriol and insults. You sure don’t inspire Trump supporters to reconsider and cast their vote for Cruz with your snark on steriods.

Jim Robinson has said if not Cruz, then Trump, and Trump has some good qualities...Is Jim Robinson’s opinion not good enough for you? You may not like Trump, but you don’t have to attack and insult fellow Freepers who support him.

I get that you are for Cruz and love Levin, but seriously, could you dial it back some—this is a free country and website...I am asking you, for the sake of this website—and maybe your candidate to tamp it down and back off the insults...You are welcome to disagree, but with your insults and vitriol, You don’t help
You misunderstood.
I know it’s difficult to grasp. Kind of like blowing into someone’s lungs to get them breathing again. Seems strange at first, but once you realize it’s life or death it makes perfect sense.

Considering that the media hates Trump and lies constantly, uses gotcha questions, uses snips, removes context and so on about what Trump says, I would trust his position paper AND the fact that he clarified and said that the mandate he liked was the one that says insurance companies have to cover pre-existing conditions, NOT that everyone has to be forced to have insurance.

The most unpopular part of Obamacare now has a champion in the Republican presidential field. Via the Right Scoop, Donald Trump was asked on Thursday night by CNN’s Anderson Cooper, “If…there's no mandate for everybody to have insurance, what's to—why would an insurance company not have a preexisting—insure somebody with a preexisting condition?” Trump replied, “Well, I like the mandate. Okay, so here's where I'm a little bit different. I don't want people dying on the streets. And I say this all the time.”
i form my own opinions and can give the reason for my support - i may or may not agree with the owner - my guess is that the owner sees sycophantic suckupz as revolting

If it was just your opinions you present, people would debate you, no problem, However, clearly you are unable to carry on a civil discussion... which is why most of us won’t engage you...just saying. Oh, and you are the one who put out the bait with the initially. If no one takes that bait, however, you will go after other people who post to others on the thread too...fine to reply, but cut the personal attacks.

From what I have read, people have criticized posters if they don’t ping JR when mentioning—Don’t think I have ever done it in the past 15+ years I have been here, but I thought it polite, you know courteous.

Two reasons.
They like what he does to the Jebs and GOPe and they like how he hits the media. They like that so much they think he is the guy with the balls to set things right.
They don't deal with guys of his type very often. I was in construction. Lots of construction. I don't know Trump first hand, but I know guys that do. I have dealt with a few of his type. They are a law unto themselves.
Might he turn out okay for a term? I truly hope so because he may well get the nomination on the first ballot. I won't vote for him in the Primary.
