Glenn Beck calls for Cruz and Rubio to team up as one ticket

Glenn Beck, a conservative radio host and Sen. Ted Cruz campaign surrogate, called for Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio to team up as a single ticket to take down GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump.

“Ted Cruz as president, Marco Rubio as vice president,” Beck said Wednesday on his radio show. “How is that not a win for absolutely everyone? That team would be unstoppable.”

Beck’s dream team also includes Sen. Mike Lee filling the vacancy on the Supreme Court, Sen. Rand Paul as treasury secretary and Ben Carson filling Rubio’s Florida Senate seat.

Cruz should hold a press conference to announce that since he won Texas he’s now ready to name his running mate.

Cruz and Rubio do not see eye to eye on immigration

I'm even beginning to wonder about that.

As far as them being a team, it's a real bad idea. When they tag-teamed at the debate, it felt more like a coup than a campaign.

Sure...right. But who gets to be on top?

Do you think for a moment that Rubio is going to stop saying "When I am President," and start saying "When Ted is president?"

LOL! Not going to happen.

Cruz has twice the delegates now, and substantially more popular vote...do you really think Ted will give that up...or that he would EVER let the Gang of 8 and Rubio be on top?

Nope...not going to happen.

Okay Beck. Two ineligible candidates? How long until the Democrats sue?

If they win, I give Hillary 30 seconds before she sues. And she WILL win.

And what does Cruz have to say about this brilliant strategy?

If Cruz does this, he will have shed all credibility.

Teaming up with Amnesty Boy would be his Rubicon

Cruz shouldn’t bite on this. It will show weakness like he ‘needs’ Rubio for a chance to win and a very slim chance that is. Way too risky— Reagan didnt win in ‘76 and Cruz is a young man and a first term senator. More opportunity ahead if he doesn’t make the nomination but go down as his own man. Rubio helps him little or none.

Personally, I love this strategy. It would move a lot of support for both Cruz and Rubio into the Trump camp, LOL.

RE: Sure they do. I thought the two of them had a conversation on tv in Spanish.

Cruz accused Rubio of saying something on Spanish TV about immigration that was DIFFERENT from what he said when he gave assurances to an English speaking only audience.

Rubio asked — “How does Cruz know? He doesn’t speak Spanish?”

To which Cruz challenged him to repeat what he said on Spanish TV ( in Spanish of course ).

Rubio did not indulge him.

That was hardly a conversation.

Rubio has been calling Trump a con man and with the KKK crap.
Cruz has criticized Trump but not as blatant and low like Rubes. Cruz would have to align himself with Rubio’s toxic words? That would be dumb and dumber.
