Huckabee argued that the anti-Trump Republican establishment needed to wise up to the fact that his likely nomination reflected the will of an angry electorate. The establishment Republicans are all bedwetting over this, he said, but they dont seem to understand that we have an election. I just believe that at some point we need to recognize that if you want to oppose Donald Trump, do it, but dont pretend that somehow all these voters who have gone out and voted for him are stupid. Theyre not stupid. Ill tell you what they are theyre angry at the very establishment that is going nuts because Donald Trump is doing so well.
That establishment, he added emphatically, was the problem.
Huckabee brushed aside the notion that Trump was aligned with racist or white supremacist ideologies, dismissively repeating Trumps excuse that, when asked about his David Duke endorsement, his earpiece had malfunctioned. I dont know what he heard in his earpiece, Huckabee said. I wasnt there. But I dont think theres any question [
] Donald Trump is not some kind of racist bigot. He suggested that it was absurd for some people in the party to consider that a big concern.

He now has a target on his back
Huck speaks the truth. This KKK things is nothing but pure bullsh!t and the Cruz supporters have no problem posting articles about it. Shows how far they have fallen.

Kristol’s buddies on Free Republic must be on his payroll, because those of us who support Trump are so stupid.
There are just some questions that are so stupid, they don’t deserve an answer. I think this is playing out well for Trump and making the others still yakking look very foolish.
We should rebuild the grassroots conservative movement. From the Reagan Revolution of 1980 through the Contract with America in 1994, it was this movement from outside Washington that carried us to the first center-right majority governing coalition in more than 60 years. The problem has not been with conservatism or with our voters.
The problem has been with Republican leaders who forgot who elected them and what values their supporters expected to see implemented in Washington.
Newt Gingrich, 11-13-2006
Why, now the WWJD groupies are all over the KKK necklace... Stupid peoples..
We are really in a sad state... so call conservative Rush Limbaugh gets AMNESTY talking points from none other than Schemer and Lindsey Graham... then Rush has the audacity to pronounce Rubio Reaganesque.... Thankfully God said He would never leave US nor forsake US... The GOPe en mass sure has forsaken GOD.
I’ve been surprised at how many media and establishment types have admitted that Trump has massively expanded the party. Not long after the last time the GOPe got it’s butt whipped all we heard was how we needed to do exactly that, bringing in more minorities, women, younger people, etc.
Sadly, yes
And so does Dr. Falwell
With a heavy heart, in my own extended family, lines are being drawm
"So what's the problem? Their stances on most major issues is remarkably similar and Trump supported Romney in 2012."
Then they launch into Trump's style and rhetoric and how it is mean, divisive, etc.
So I ask them "Romney was so polite and the perfect gentlemen, wasn't he? How did that work out?"
Pot meet Kettle.
Yes his supporters are stupid. LOL.
No, they are not. LOL.
Romney is not genuine, Trump is, and people can sense that.
It’s your opininon, but you cannot deny they are supporting a winner who is currently winning. To deny it would be stupid. For reals.
Difference?
1. Trade/Immigration (they are connected)
2. Neocons
On these issues, our govt is the “Uni-Party.”
The elites want the party expanded.
They do not want a candidate with the resolve to actually do something about Trade & Immigration, and removing Neocons from the party.
Sorry to tell you buddy, but the easy pickns’ for Cruz is gone. From here on its all down hill for Cruz. But don't take my word for it. Look at the political makeup of the states coming up... Not pretty for Cruz. By the end of the contest he will be pandering for some position in the administration of the other member of the Cuban tag team. Castro must be very proud of his boys. But even he is saying they ought to tone it down a little.
