Sen. Marco Rubio Tuesday night rejoiced in the Super Tuesday results, saying his [Trump] numbers are coming down and our numbers are going up!
He was declared the winner in Minnesota with slightly more than one third of the votes and Ted Cruz and Donald Trump at his heels.
But he was third in most of the rest of the states.
We never said Super Tuesday was our night, he said, Now the map begins to look really good for our campaign.
(snip)
Tapper, however, didn't see it.
"Senator, you keep saying that," he said, of Rubio's messaging that Trump was falling while he was rising, "and he keeps winning states. You're talking about Virginia and that's another state Donald Trump won. And I'm just wondering if there's a certain amount of denial that you're in this race."

Yeah and the obama economy is going gang busters for the American earner:-)
Kasich’s open borders/amnesty.
I saw Rubio in an interview last night, probably with Meghan Kelly. He looked like a deer in the headlights, and spoke nonsense, as if he had not just been routed by Trump.
He was nearly as delusional as O’Muslim is.
The setting for the interview was odd as well, optics were terrible. he was in the room where his supporters were gathered earlier in the evening, except his supporters had left. Had to chuckle.......
Cabana Boy is becoming Bananas Boy.
I think he will do better going forward than Cruz. The weight of the media and party nomenklatura will be behind Rubio now.
Exactly.
His scorched earth policy is only helping Cruz.
What a complete idiot. No wonder he went into politics as a career - he would never make it in the private sector.
That being said, he won a state with high refugee settlement, so there you go.
He will win Dearborn, Michigan. Count on it.
Don’t waste a vote on Kasich.
He needs to get back to Ohio and do his job.
There is something terribly wrong with Rubio...
“It’s just a flesh wound.”
