Game over! This was a rout, America. Winning seven states and the vast majority of delegates is a landslide. Donald Trump and the millions of his supporters have changed American politics and the Republican Party for the foreseeable future.
The nomination is within his grasp and if he does what he said he would do Tuesday night: "[I will] be a unifier!" he may be a very viable candidate against Hillary Clinton in the fall.
After his victories Tuesday night in multiple states and his second place finish in others , Trump is in an unstoppable position. Whether the junior senators from Texas and Florida choose to pursue him, it doesnt matter, the end is near.
Trump, who is an unconventional candidate, to say the least, has tapped into the anger and frustration across America and has mobilized voters to turn out in record numbers.
Love him or hate him, be inspired by him or be appalled by him, Trump has totally dominated a political cycle like no other politician Ive seen in decades.
I admit I was a total skeptic, like many others.
At first, I didnt think he would run.
Then I thought there was no way he could beat the all-star cast of elected officials running against him.
Then I underestimated his lack of substance and trite answers in the debates.
Then I was convinced the political establishment was going to spend millions and take him out. And like the Energizer bunny he just keeps going and winning!
Trump is getting stronger by the day and his supporters are locked in and not going away. And no one has mastered the media like this since Teddy Roosevelt and his rough riders.
What's ahead is a Republican Party that either becomes part of his movement or splinters

Nice company Trump has there.
US Politicians care about two things only: 1) raising money. 2) getting (re)elected. Our entire political system, much of the US economy, and much of the global economy is set up around, operates within, controls, and prophets from that construct.
Trump’s run challenges that structure — control of the global economy. We have witnessed a realization over the last few days (finally) that Trump might win. There has been, and there increasingly will be, unlimited pressure (fueled by trillions of dollars of economic activity) to retain control of the process make sure Trump does not win.
I've heard a lot of Trump supporters say Cruz is or was their 2nd choice. I respect that. But I have always been up front about the fact that my conscience will never let me vote for Trump just like it didn't let me vote for Romney. I voted for McCain for Palin's sake, but I wish I hadn't. My conscience would let me vote for Rubio if Cruz drops out. I wouldn't enjoy it. But Rubio should drop out for love of country.
I wouldn't vote for Hillary if she was running against Satan himself. Whatever you do, don't violate your conscience.
Rush has GOPe masters? Are you even over 18?
This thing is much bigger than Trump. Trump is merely riding the wave.
Trump was supposed to win Alaska by 10%. That didn't work out so well either. The best thing Trump has going for him is the crowded field. If it was a two man race, or even a three person race, everything would change.
Luther was no leftie.
Erick Erickson from RedState started it. I think it's important to lay your cards on the table. I'll totally respect you if your conscience will not let you vote for Cruz. NeverViolateYourConscience.
Is Rush still on the air? I remember when people used to care before he was totally wrong about the last few Presidential elections.
He’s so marginalized himself that the mainstream doesn’t even bother to attack him anymore. You enjoy though.
Only if Rubio continues to stay in
Perhaps Rush is ON his meds again which would explain his being held captive for his entire existence by the GOP Establishment.
Cruz repeatedly states that he will not negotiate with the corrupt politicians in Washington. Sounds good, but this will be his ultimate undoing. He’s working against 80% of the electorate (GOP & Dem) when he makes this pledge, and sounds like Obama from the other extreme. It’s crazy.
I just listened to a former bush campaign person who is now heading the superpac against trump...it is all out war they plan to bring trump down and they say there is time. This guy said if trump wins the general he will never vote for him.
Trump is a Liberal who has been smearing a conservative candidate fior months, so it makes perfect since that conservative voters would have a hard time supporting him. They see no difference between him and his buddy Hillary. Why conservatives would not want to support a candidate Cruz, who is far more conservative than Trump, in the general election over Hillary is a mystery though. Maybe FR is no longer a conservative forum.
I told my wife during the first debate when the GOP asked Trump to pledge that he would not go “third party” on them that Trump should have asked for a pledge of allegiance from them when he won the nomination. Think they would have done it? The laughter would have been amazing and now how the worm has turned.
MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN
Yep! I agree.
I just saw Martha McCallum ....pretty thing....pimping Rubio is on the rise Trump is collapsing talking point while interviewing the ventriloquist dummy Rubio
They do not know what to do
Sessions endorsed
Newt says get used to it
Ed Rollins says it’s gonna be Trump
These are not stupid people
Donald also followed it with a comment that Marco doesn’t have near the talent of Don Rickles; so true.
I saw Trump reference Don Rickles, when he was ridiculing Little Guy Rubio. Hilarious. How great it will be to have a president with a great sense of humor.
Go Trump! All the way to The White House!
May God bless Donald Trump.
