ink to live Trump presser

This thread has gone off track.
This is just a huge showman game by Trump.
All he did was bring Christie to another jam session.
It’s like Bon Jovi claiming he was going to link up with some other act, but he doesn’t and he jams with the old guys who already had and duped all these teeny bopper Fox News bimbos to watch him put on a show.
Cruz and Rubio are politicians - nothing more - so they behave as politicians do. They lie, whine, attack, and ignore the citizens.
Trump is a gentleman. He will make a good president and once this media circus of a campaign is over, he will represent this country well. I don’t expect him to return any busts of Sir Winston Churchill, bow to a moslem ruler, or give to Queen Elizabeth “The Art of the Deal” as an official gift from the US government. (She may ask for it privately, LOL)
Eh, just got back home, and not for long at that. So, I’ve missed a lot - sure don’t have the energy left to read the whole Live thread.
But, I did watch the Trump presser. Trump made some important points, especially, in my view, his criticism of Obama’s executive orders. I think he was about half a sentence away from saying “you (I, as President) can’t just be a dictator.”
This would be a VERY good theme for him to expand on:
One, you have to actually know what will work, and is good for the country.
Then, two, you can’t act like a dictator and unilaterally issue executive orders for policies that Constitutionally must be enacted by Congress.
Three, getting needed policies in place requires a leader who knows how to work with people to get things done, which is something I (Trump) have been doing as an executive all my life.
This not only addresses the rather irrational fear some have that Trump will be some sort of semi-dictator, it punches Obama on the same point. By extension, it asks how Hillary will behave. Then it pushes Trump’s argument that he would be an effective leader, and, while staying positive, draws a distinction between himself and Cruz or Rubio. Cruz in particular, is weak in the area of persuasiveness outside of doing it as a lawyer, while Rubio does not have much experience or any real accomplishments.
Trump was commanding, humorous, pleasant, and yes, presidential. Cruz was negative, strident, and domineering. Compared to Trump’s presser, Cruz’s speech was as disturbing as fingernails scraping a chalkboard.
I’ve noticed CanuckTed has changed to wearing suits at his events and dropped the “jeans & flannel shirt” outfit.
CanuckTed is trying to be like Trump is blatantly transparent.
Finally, CanuckTed’s outright lying of multiple Trump positions at his presser continues to reinforce his image of sleazy politician. Jeffrey Lord, on CNN, called him out that dishonesty.
To honestly & fully describe Trump’s comments, you should include he AGAIN stated funds for abortion should be stopped.
He can also smoke out Hillary supporters and voters on this forum.
It was interesting to read your link about the estate. It showcases how sue happy trump is when he doesnt get his way.

Yeh - about flying the American Flag.. I remember when he did that and I thought he was a badass back then..
keep on keepin on tho for you.. good luck out there...
I am flawed, I will admit it freely.
In other words Trumps club was the first in old Palm Beach to admit Blacks and Jews
Those for sure. But there were white people with working class backgrounds, and those who wouldn't play the brown nosing games and just wanted a place to play tennis or whatever, who had been kept outside as well. I'm pretty sure the only people Trump sees as "not our kind" are those who can't pay, or those who are deliberately and actively disruptive. People who are "a little rough around the edges" -- either because they're not college educated or because they aren't so hot at following stringent social rules -- don't bother him.
