Is Donald Dumbing It Down for the Trumpsters?
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | Feb 29, 2016 | Rush Limbaugh/Caller

RUSH: Here's Sally in Columbus. She's been waiting awhile. I appreciate that. And how are you?

CALLER: Fine. How are you, Rush?

RUSH: Very well. Thank you very much.

CALLER: Thanks for taking my call. Just as a... You know, you have always led us conservatives through some pretty dark times. And there were few places to turn. You never let us down. You always gave us perspective and truth. So I just kind of wanted to say that. But to get to my point, you know, last week you were discussing Trump and the way he talked about "we have to get rid of the lines around the state" during the debate. Well, I have a different take on that. Not only did he say it that way -- and you suggested it was because of his advisors that were kind of, you know, doing a tutorial for him for interstate insurance commerce.

And then also, the thing that bothers me is that when he comments regarding his and the Democrats touchback program -- which is theoretically what it is when he said we're going to do: Send them back and let the good ones back in -- you know, Trump isn't this inarticulate. I think he does it to dumb down his speech. I think he does it to mislead and not have to give explanations. And it keeps his comments kind of on the remedial side. And that's how I look at this. I know it's different from what you think, but it's how I feel. I think he's talking to a base that he doesn't have a lot of confidence in.

He’s afraid of Trump just like the rest of the GoPe cause it will cost him cash.
Why would any serious conservative want Trump for president, as opposed to a guy like Cruz? Have you drank that much of his kool-aid?

You mean the same Cruz shaking hands with Rubio.

This is easy and accurate.

Rush the media mogul, is primarily concerned about his bottom line. Conservatives, doing conservative things will cost Rush listeners, why tune in once issues are solved. Believe it, he wants Hillary as Prez, he gets more listeners generating a greater bottom line. He’s afraid of Trump just like the rest of the GoPe cause it will cost him cash. Refute that.

So none of the trump supporters could possibly understand what “touchback” or “get rid of the lines between the states” mean? Or is Trump intentionally keeping it vague? Has Trump explained to you even in elementary terms what status will be given to the “good ones” once he lets them back?

I know what he means, it really isn't too hard.

Yea, it does. That’s why I go to their websites and read the details in their policy papers.

I-70 was a bigger undertaking than the border wall. Somehow it still got built.

[Isn’t that what Trump did with all his opponents guilt by rumor. I’d say Trump is the king of that.]

Yep, that’s exactly what Trump did. The Trumpsters, with assistance from the Rat media and GOPe, used Alinsky’s tactics to damage Cruz.

It is Donald Trump who is GOPe. Here’s just one example:

“Trump has long praised Mitch McConnell, the man who is the embodiment of why people are fed up with the party and attracted to Trump in the first place. While conservatives were fighting to get rid of McConnell in the 2014 primaries, Trump said, “It would be a shame if he didn’t win, because he has such power, it’s so good for his state.”

It comes as no surprise, then, that late last year Trump criticized Cruz for acting like a “maniac” when he called McConnell a liar. How does Trump plan to fight political correctness and the culture of the D.C. establishment when he has championed the mastermind of the GOP establishment and is offended by the non-politically correct criticism of its leader?”

You heard the tape? I’m guessing he said no such thing. Your hatred for Trump has blinded and brainwashed you to the point where you have lost the ability to practice critical thinking.

If he makes it through the general, which is questionable, when the wall is built and it will be built simply because the bids will go to Trump contractor/associates, then deals made with Democrats in Vegas, New Jersey, and New York, the die will be cast, but the Trump supporters will NEVER admit their mistake.

“..Trump supporters will NEVER admit their mistake.”

Just like Obama supporters who also vote on emotion, rather than FACTS.
