Goldman Sachs has already made an initial investment in Hillary, so they have a backup plan in place when Ted pulls out.

Smart money says.....make sure we hold the Senate or you will indeed wind up with a liberal judge.
And your money can buy plenty of negative ads to take down Hillary or Sanders a peg.

The donor’s long political bribery run comes to an ignominious end.

Exactly, it makes no difference to them whether the President has an R or a D after his/her name, so long as the gravy train keeps running.

Trump doesn’t need them. He’s got enough moolah to win the WH, then it’s on to the Vatican!

Or they can support the Senate which we have to defend so many seats that maybe the extra cash could make a difference in some of those races. Wouldn’t it be cool is we could get 60 Republicans in the Senate this round. With that extra money available, it COULD happen.

They will fund Hillary and their flunkies in Congress.

This election will change the 2 party system to a 4 party system which is an European style of elections. There will be democrat, republican, conservative and socialist parties. This country is so divided, there is no other alternative. That means the constitution will be whatever the politicrats want it to be. Be careful what you wish for, trumbots.
To: snarkpup
Does this mean the citizens of the United States of America will get to decide who we will elect to be our public servants?

That's exactly what will happen. Congress will fight Trump for awhile, doing the bidding of these donors/lobbyists, but soon the people who elected Trump will see the light and vote them out.
