It’s been 23 years since Deputy White House Counsel Vincent Foster was found dead in a Virginia park, setting off one of the biggest controversies of the Clinton administration.
Foster, a close friend and former law partner of Hillary Clinton’s, was discovered on July 20, 1993, lying in Fort Marcy Park with a fatal gunshot wound. Two investigations, the first led by Robert Fiske and the second by Kenneth Starr, concluded Foster suffered a single, self-inflicted wound. A simple suicide. Case closed. But newly discovered evidence unearthed from boxes stored deep in the National Archives lend credence to theories about foul play and cover-up that have been hinted at by at least three books and countless articles. This has been known for some time. To this day I do not understand why there has not been another “independent” investigation into the Vince Foster “suicide”. There were so many loose ends that were never followed. I was a member of the old Prodigy Whitewater Board and it was obvious then that a coverup, and not a very good one at that, was going on. Time has faded my memory but check out Alamo Girls postings something must be there. I hope the truth comes out before I die as I’m getting old. I pray that it does.

here’s two things a nyc detective commented on at the time:
the car seat was positioned wrong for fosters height
the gun was too far from the body for a self inflicted wound
the clintons rummagerd thru foster’s briefcase and desk... evidence tampering at the least..
draw your own conclusions remembering the clintons history of coincidental conveniently timed deaths and suicides.......

Not sure how your definition of weak stacks up to the "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard of proof, but eyewitness testimony raises doubt whether the Honda Civic at the scene described as belonging to Foster was even the same year and color of Foster's Honda Civic. The FBI's 503 investigative report changed the witness's testimony on this point to match the official story. This discrepancy was uncovered by Evans Ambrose Pritchard and is a large part of what prompted Patrick Knowlton and his lawyer to file the Knowlton Appendix. Can't say what HRC's involvement was in all this, but rest assured the case to be made against the official story of suicide is anything but weak.

You can read the facts for yourself in my brief on the merits to the Supreme Court at the bottom of page 19 to the top of page 40. None of the facts were proven false, inaccurate or misleading. The documents cited in the brief are here (see the documents linked at the listings for May 30, 2001 & October 9, 2001). If you read it all, compare it to the one sentence in the entire Supreme Court opinion about the evidence you just read: “Favish has not produced any evidence that would warrant a belief by a reasonable person that the alleged Government impropriety might have occurred to put the balance into play.” This sentence is on page 17 of the opinion, which is here. Note that the Supreme Court briefs do not contain the original source citations, but only citations to the “Excerpts of Record”. You can see the original source citations in my Appellant’s Opening and Reply briefs, which were filed April 13 and August 31 of 1998 with the Ninth Circuit, links to which are here.

I suspect that he was trying to set a ‘new tone’ and decided not to push there.
But I have NO DOUBT that Trump will re-open the case, if there is evidence pointing to multiple shots.
